Ahmadinejad Wants Public Meeting with Obama concerning Jewish Influence
Say what you will about the tenets of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s politics, but at least he has a sense for the theatrical.
Iran’s president said Monday that he would like to hold a meeting with President Obama when he visits New York in September for all the world to see.
I will be ready for talks, for one-on-one talks, with Mr. Obama in front of the media, of course,” he said.
Ahmadinejad made the offer in the midst of a rant against those he labels Zionists—in essence, Israel and Jews.
Is the U.S. government influenced by Zionists or the other way around?” he asked, before referring to Obama.
“He should make it clear which one is under the control of the other.”
The White House has yet to react to his comments
