02Jun09

Obama_IsraelU.S. President Barak Obama is holding his ground on Israel.

As he prepares to travel to the Arab World, he reiterated on NPR that he supports a freeze on settlements and said “Part of being a good friend is being honest. And I think there have been times where we are not as honest as we should be about the fact that the current direction. the current trajectory, in the region is profoundly negative, not only for Israeli interests but also U.S. interests.” I’ll repeat that,

Part of being a good friend is being honest,” Mr. Obama said in an interview with NPR News. And I think there have been times where we are not as honest as we should be about the fact that the current direction, the current trajectory, in the region is profoundly negative, not only for Israeli interests but also U.S. interests.

Israel obviously does not like the demand, but neither do some Democrats. “My concern is that we are applying pressure to the wrong party in this dispute,” Shelley Berkley tells Politico. Reps. Anthony Weiner and Gary Ackerman also go on the record to criticize the plan.

Obama has four years to go, and our next parliament has four years to go – wondered the court’s fool as he scratched his head, five days before election day.

Its such as you read my mind! You appear to know a lot approximately this, such as you wrote the book in it or something.

I think that you just could do with a few % to pressure the message house a bit, but other than that, this is excellent blog. A fantastic read. I will certainly be back.
