Israel to target Christians in Lebanon

Hows that for a title?

Israel, the Jewish state, since 1948 – has caused much help and damage to it’s neighbor to the north, Lebanon.

Historically, it has been said, that Israeli Jews, and Lebanese Christians, have had des ententes, viewing it as a survival of existence “in a world of raging Islam”, as has been uttered by Zionists. So naturally, Lebanese Christians, and Israeli Jews – have had a curious and pondering eye toward each other.

The Gemayels, a prominent Maronite family of tradition and long commitment to Lebanon’s politics were once amicably in contact with past governments in Israel. Even still recently, Amine Gemayel, the son of Pierre, and brother of Bashir, was the first to announce talks with Israel after the Syrian withdrawal in 2005, which strongly forbade Lebanon having any talks with Israel.

The top disagreement Lebanese Christians and Israeli Jews have, is the issue of 400’000 Palestinian refugees residing in tiny, religiously sensitive Lebanon; Palestinian refugees were chased by Israel into Lebanon in the late 40’s and early 50’s.

It has become a case of Palestinians threatening Jewish existence in the ‘Holy land’, or a threat to Christianity’s existence in the Holy land. (Qana: 1996, and 2006)

The cause of todays post, was due to several sources forwarding me the same article, it’s even listed on many news aggregators and blogs. The title is called ‘The new Lebanon’. Hear this man’s opinion published in the Jerusalem Post.

I would suggest for you to read the book The Devil’s Delusion: Atheism and its Scientific Pretensions.” by self-professed secular Jew and mathematics/philosophies teacher David Berlinski.
This tells the story of a Jew who was forced to dig his own grave prior to being shot by a German soldier. Prior to being shot, the old Jewish man advised the German that “God is watching what you are doing.” The Jewish gentleman pointed what i think is the real problem with atheism. If you have the time please check the book out
