Lebanese Expats held for Ransom
Lebanon’s General Consulate at the Nigerian city of Lagos informed the foreign ministry on Tuesday that gunmen have kidnapped two Lebanese citizens near Port Harcourt airport.
The two men, who were identified as Antoine Abdo Assaker, 48, and Mohsen Hayel al-Daher, 28, were seized while working on a construction site, Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency said.
Marcel Semaan, the owner of the construction company, said the two are “safe and in good health,” adding that he is negotiating with the kidnappers to set the men free, according to NNA.
