Lebanon in the hands of 17 member Cabinet

24Nov07

In Lebanon, the Christian community is by far the most anxiously saddened community in need of a President.

The army handling the situation on the streets do give some sort of comfort, while the government ought to decide with Mar Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir on a new President.

This blogger feels, that any coming President, is out of their league and potential in resolving the problem of disarming Hezbollah, by force.

Today’s vacant seat is a disappointment that out speaks me.

I ask Docteur Samir Geagea, “What government in the world will recognize a president who gets elected by a 50 +1 vote? who?” Is the U.S. alone enough?

In Middle Eastern news, the Pope Benedict, granted Iraq its first ever Cardinal, Emmanuel III Delly, the Baghdad-based Patriarch of Babylon of the Chaldeans.

  1. “What government in the world will recognize a president who gets elected by a 50 +1 vote? who?”
    Good question.
What about the Lebanese, who will reconize such a president?
But I believe such an election will not happen.
