Lebanese Cinematography – Nadine Labaki on the Spot

Akh, the headache of Politics… I’m glad to shed some light on our ideal image and culture to be broadcasted to the world and not through CNN and the sort.

Nadine Labaki has released her new movie Caramel (Sikar Banet) trailer movie.

In France it will be released in theaters on the 14th of August. In Lebanon, it was planned to be released on 14th of June, but due to the ongoing current events, this date has been frozen for the time being.

This observer is impressed. I do not easily give out praises; but from the preview, this movie seems to have made me think twice.

  1. May I simply just say what a relief to find somebody that truly
knows what they’re talking about on the net. You certainly understand how to bring a problem to light and make it important. More and more people ought to check this out and understand this side of your story. I was surprised that you’re not more popular because you most certainly have the gift.

I think it is a great movie… and would like to watch it…
Does anyone know if it will be released in Germany? thanx!
