Syrians jailed for ‘normalizing’ relations with Lebanon

14May07

An explanatory country like Lebanon in the middle east has potential to ignite a new form of democracy. It has been clearly observed that you cannot shove democracy to an Arab country, as seen in Iraq.

I’d like to point out that democracy has a unique semantic among western nations. France has a different type of democracy as it is understood in the United States, which in turn is also different than in Sweden or Switzerland.

So, to return locally, our democracy is a sum of a tripole, characterized by sects and ideologies, for the ultimate benefit of Lebanon.

News noteworthy: Two Syrians jailed for a fair trial?

Under who’s law?

the person who rules us all, is the biggest crook in the bunch; Because he succeeded in crime. The others, those that are pushed aside, the rascals, the ones we lock up in jails, are simply the people who didn’t make it.

~ So, to return locally, our democracy is a sum of a tripole, characterized by sects and ideologies, for the ultimate benefit of Lebanon, to each his/her definition of the term. we have a great leap ahead of us, and it starts with you and me.
